CD
  1. List the the performers name first
  2. Then the title of the recording
  3. The manufacturer
  4. If you are not using the CD you have to identify the medium
Ex. Jackson, Michael. Thriller. Epic, 1982.
If you are just citing a song put the title in quotation marks.
Ex. Jackson, Michael."P.Y.T.(Pretty Young Thing)." Thriller. Epic, 1982.

DVD
  1. First write the title and underline it
  2. Then the director
  3. Names of the performers
  4. The medium
  5. The distributor
  6. and the release date for the medium
Ex. This Is It. Dir. Kenny Ortega. Perf. Michael Jackson, Alex Al, Nick Bass. Blu-ray. Columbia, 2009.
Encyclopedia Article
  1. Put the name of the artical in quotation marks
  2. The name of the Encyclopedia
  3. The edition
  4. The Year
